It’s no secret that the majority of people have to drag themselves to work every morning. Even the lucky few that get enough sleep and are under little stress can use a little boost every once in a while. For most people, that comes in the form of coffee. Unfortunately, getting coffee in itself can feel like a chore with long lines and crazy high prices. Thanks to Octane Coffee and Adrian Deasy, long waits and high prices could quickly become issues of the past.
Octane Coffee: Coffee Made Simple
The phrase “less is more” is embodied by Octane Coffee. Thanks to a minimalist design, they can quickly make your coffee while keeping prices low. The reason Octane Coffee can get away with such small “kiosks” is thanks to the fact that a singular robot runs the show. By eliminating manpower and making everything automated, coffee has never been made simpler.
To order from Octane Coffee, simply download the Apple or Android app. Once you finalize your order, all you have to do is drive to the location. Once you are within a minute of the location, the robot will begin to make your order. From there, all you have to do is scan the QR code given to you and one of the compartments will open up, allowing you to take your coffee and go.

Octane Coffee Supports Local Coffee Companies
The biggest question most people would have about this company revolves around how good their coffee actually is. Lower prices and convenience are great, but if the product sucks, it’s all for nothing.
Thanks to their partnership with Stone Creek Coffee, you never have to worry about your coffee being underwhelming. Octane Coffee selects the best coffee beans from Stone Creek Coffee and uses them in all their products so you never have to worry about taste.
Octane Coffee Taste Test and Review
I am admittedly not a huge coffee fan due to a variety of factors. Many coffee chains poorly brew their products and they can get expensive in a hurry. I downloaded the app and received five free drinks as part of the beta test for their first location in Pewaukee. I didn’t understand how the quality, convenience and price could all be good enough to get me interested in coffee again.
Although the first drink I got was free, I could see that the price was solid at $4.25 for a 12 oz mocha. The same drink goes for about 30 cents more at Starbucks. The large 16 oz size is about 40-50 cents cheaper than Starbucks as well. While that may not sound like much, it certainly adds up for those who get coffee every morning.
When I was about a minute away, I got a notification that my drink was being prepared. I drove up to the kiosk, scanned my QR code, and my coffee was immediately presented to me.
I was incredibly skeptical that even if everything did run smoothly, the coffee might not be hot enough. However, it was at the perfect temperature. The taste was exceptional and there was no wait.
Future Outlook
While Octane Coffee currently only has one location, future prospects for the company shine bright. Not much space is needed, there are virtually no overhead costs and there is very little maintenance needed to keep the kiosk running smoothly. With high prices running rampant across the entire country, Octane Coffee should be able to capitalize on the inflating coffee industry and make itself a staple in Wisconsin moving forward.
With any luck, Octane Coffee may be to coffee as Culver’s is to burgers in Wisconsin.
