What is Arena Football?
Football played in The Arena League is a little different than what you may be used to!
For starters, this is a fast-paced game with a lot of action. There is a quick 20-second play clock and no huddles to slow the game down. Played on a 50-yard field, the offense is in scoring position every single play! With padded walls on the side, you could see a lot of action if you sit close to the field.
In The Arena League, the Eau Claire Axemen have a 15-man roster. Instead of 11-on-11 in the NFL, this game will be 6-on-6, with some of your favorite players playing on both offense and defense! While many are excited to see if Travis Hunter will do this in the NFL, it will be common to see in arena football games! Additionally, all six players on offense are eligible receivers, so anybody could score.
There are also no field goals, kickoffs, or punts. If it’s fourth down, the Axemen will be going for it. Expect a lot of action, a lot of points, and a lot of fun to be had in Eau Claire this summer!
