Best Players to Wear Green Bay Packers Number 12
1) Aaron Rodgers, QB (2005-23)
NFL Draft: 2005, Round 1, Pick 24 to the Green Bay Packers.
Obviously, the best player to wear the Green Bay Packers’ number 12 jersey is Aaron Rodgers. He is arguably the best player in franchise history, and he is the most talented quarterback in NFL history.
Aaron Rodgers spent 18 seasons with the Packers, leading the team to a 147-75-1 record. He passed for 59,055 yards and an incredible 475 touchdowns to only 105 interceptions. Rodgers is a Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl MVP, four-time NFL MVP, four-time All-Pro, 10-time Pro Bowler and a holder of multiple NFL records. He was a polarizing player, oftentimes because he wouldn’t speak to the media and correct the lies. Still, nobody can argue how great of a player Rodgers was for Green Bay.
2) Lynn Dickey, QB (1980-85)
NFL Draft: 1971, Round 3, Pick 56 to the Houston Oilers
Lynn Dickey would top the list for most other numbers. He spent nine seasons with the Packers, though only six seasons were in the Green Bay Packers’ number 12 jersey.
During these six years, Lynn Dickey totaled 17,771 passing yards, 116 touchdowns and 119 interceptions. He led the entire league in passing yards and touchdowns in 1983, which was the best season of his career.
3) Zeke Bratkowski, QB (1963-71)

Zeke Bratkowski ended his career with the Packers, playing his final six-plus seasons for Green Bay. During this time, he made just nine starts, leading the team to a 4-4-1 record. Obviously, he was the backup to Bart Starr, which is why you may not remember his name.
Regardless, Zeke Bratkowski totaled 21 passing touchdowns to 29 interceptions. He was a three-time NFL Champion, two-time Super Bowl champion and he earned a spot in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.
