The Green Bay Packers had a great chance to secure their place at the top of the NFC North going into their Week 4 matchup with the Detroit Lions. Instead, the Packers were outplayed for a full 60 minutes and embarrassed on their own field. With a long week to prepare, the Packers are looking to bounce back.

This week, the Packers find themselves on national TV Monday night in a matchup against former receiver Davante Adams and the Las Vegas Raiders. Read on for our Packers vs Raiders prediction, NFL odds and a Packers injury report heading into Week 5.

Green Bay Packers News | Packers vs Raiders Prediction

The key in Week 4 for the Packers was to jump out to an early lead. Although they did get on the board first with an Anders Carlson field goal after an early Lions turnover, they gave up 27 unanswered points over the rest of the first half. The Packers’ offense couldn’t get anything going until the second half thanks to an offensive line that couldn’t stop a nosebleed.

Green Bay’s defense wasn’t very good against Detroit for most of the game, but they were hardly the problem. If the Packers can’t win at the line of scrimmage or stop Raiders’ defensive lineman Maxx Crosby, they may meet a similar fate as they did against Detroit.

Las Vegas Raiders News | Packers vs Raiders Prediction

The Las Vegas Raiders have had a rough start to the season as they come into this matchup with a measly 1-3 record. After beating the Denver Broncos in Week 1, they have lost three straight to the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Los Angeles Chargers. Even more worrisome, the Raiders have yet to score 20 points or more this season.

Rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell got the start last week for the Raiders and if not for Chargers head coach Brandon Staley doing everything he could to lose the game, the Raiders would’ve been ran out of the building. The Raiders’ main struggle offensively is turnovers. Through four games, they have thrown for five touchdowns and seven interceptions. They’ve also lost three fumbles and have a -9 turnover differential. If their offense can’t hold onto the ball, their defense likely isn’t good enough to keep them in the game.
