Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers offense looked good when Aaron Jones was on the field in Week 1. When he was off the field though, AJ Dillon was a less than serviceable replacement. With Aaron Jones’ status up in the air due to a hamstring injury suffered against the Bears, Green Bay’s offense may need some help against a much better Atlanta Falcons defense.
Defensively, the Packers stonewalled the Bears, allowing just 14 points before a garbage-time touchdown. They did a good job containing Justin Fields and did a decent job stopping the run. Against Atlanta, they will face a much better offensive line and backfield, one that is one of the best in the NFL. With Quay Walker’s status also up in the air with a concussion, the Packers’ depth could be tested already.

The Atlanta Falcons come into this game on a high after a 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 1. Quarterback Desmond Ridder only threw for 115 passing yards, but that’s all he needed as the Falcons ran for 130 yards on just 26 carries. The two-headed monster in the backfield of Tyler Allgeier and Bijan Robinson is tough for anyone to stop, especially a Packers team that is historically bad against the run.
Defensively, the Falcons have some sneaky talent on paper. Defensive tackle Calais Campbell is still playing at a high level, and Atlanta also has Jessie Bates III and A.J. Terrell in their secondary. They throw many different looks at offenses, which could prove troublesome for a young and inexperienced Jordan Love.
