Although the Milwaukee Brewers had a horrible road trip, finishing just 1-5 over six games, they were able to gain on the Pittsburgh Pirates atop the NL Central. Hopefully, the Brewers are able to gain some momentum going into a six-game homestand. Below, we have Dodgers vs Brewers predictions for this week’s series, including projected starting pitchers, betting odds, injury report and the NL Central standings.
Milwaukee Brewers News | Dodgers vs Brewers Series Predictions
The Milwaukee Brewers were only able to take one of six games against the Colorado Rockies and the San Francisco Giants. It was been a horrible road trip for the Brewers. Their bats went silent at the worst time and when they were hitting, their pitching completely let them down. This looks like just like the Brewers team that struggled down the stretch last year.
This Dodgers vs Brewers series will be a great chance for the Brewers to bounce back and make a statement against a solid team. With the series taking place in the friendly confines of American Family Field, the Brewers will at least have the crowd behind them. With a tough May schedule coming up, the Brewers need to at least grab two of three against the Dodgers.
Los Angeles Dodgers News | Dodgers vs Brewers Series Predictions
The Los Angeles Dodgers struggled early on this season but now find themselves atop the NL West division. Their bats were red hot against the St. Louis Cardinals and the Philadelphia Phillies although they struggled against the San Diego Padres.
This isn’t the same high-powered Dodgers offense that many fans are used to from years past. Their team batting average is just .235 and Mookie Betts and J.D. Martinez have struggled to provide much of an offensive spark. With a team ERA of 4.25, if the Brewers can hold the Dodgers’ bats in check, they should be able to take the series.
