After losing a tough series to the Arizona Diamondbacks, some were worried how their next series against the San Diego Padres would go. Milwaukee quickly showed what they’re capable of with a statement, taking three of four from the San Diego Padres. Below, we have Brewers vs Mariners predictions for this week’s series, including projected starting pitchers, betting odds, injury report and the NL Central standings.

Milwaukee Brewers News | Brewers vs Mariners Series Predictions

The Milwaukee Brewers left for the west coast road trip and have overall seen positive results. The Brewers have shown plenty of resilience and must continue to do so with new injuries to reliever Gus Varland, outfielder Jesse Winker, and what now appears to be a longer absence than expected from Brandon Woodruff.

This Brewers vs Mariners series will be a great chance for the Brewers to end this road trip in a great position. Milwaukee has won four of seven so far against solid teams and hold a two-game lead in the NL Central. While it’s much too early to think about magic numbers and division titles, it is nice to see the Brewers handling a very tough stretch while keeping a lead in a tough division.

Seattle Mariners News | Brewers vs Mariners Series Predictions

The Seattle Mariners started out the season ice cold, winning just four of their first 12 games. Unfortunately for Milwaukee, they have won four straight since then and look like the same team that made the ALDS last season.

Seattle has struggled this season to get guys hitting consistently. In their most recent game against the Colorado Rockies, only four players in their lineup had a batting average above .240. While they don’t need much offensively when starting pitcher Luis Castillo is on the mound, he just pitched in Seattle’s most recent win and likely won’t be on the mound this season. If the Brewers can continue their offensive surge, Seattle may struggle to keep up.
