Earl Dotson was a third-round draft pick who played all 10 of his NFL seasons in the Green Bay Packers’ number 72 jersey. He started 88 games for the Packers in these 10 years. This includes starting at offensive tackle in two different Super Bowls for Green Bay.
2) Dick Himes, OT (1968-77)
NFL Draft: 1968, Round 3, Pick 81 to the Green Bay Packers
Interestingly, Dick Himes was another 81st overall draft pick to wear the Packers’ number 72. Himes also played all 10 of his NFL seasons in Green Bay at offensive tackle, but he made 104 starts for the team.
3) Jason Spitz, G (2006-10)
NFL Draft: 2006, Round 3, Pick 75 to the Green Bay Packers
After getting drafted in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft, Jason Spitz played five of his six NFL seasons in Green Bay. He was an every-week starter at offensive guard during his first few years as a Packer, though he would move to the sideline more in the final couple of seasons, including the year the Packers won the Super Bowl. Still, he has the ring.

Who Wears Packers’ Number 72 in 2023?
Currently, offensive tackle Caleb Jones wears the Green Bay Packers’ number 72 jersey. Jones is a massive human, listed at 6-9, 370 pounds. He was brought in as an undrafted free agent in 2022.
While he does have some skills, he will continue to be more of a developmental player this season, working off to the side.
