The best player to ever wears the Green Bay Packers’ number 28 jersey is Willie Buchanon. The cornerback out of San Diego State was a first-round draft pick by Green Bay. He immediately contributed, winning Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Across seven seasons for the Packers, Buchanon started all 80 games he played in, totaling 21 interceptions and two touchdowns. He also was an All-Pro and a two-time Pro Bowler. The highlight of his career was a four-interception game against the Chargers, taking one back for a touchdown.
2) AJ Dillon, RB (2020-Present)

Next on the list is AJ Dillon, a current Packer. While he has not lived up to his draft value, Dillon has quickly become a fan-favorite player and he will be a major part of the offense once again this season.
Across three seasons, AJ Dillon has run for 1,815 yards and 14 touchdowns while adding another 540 yards and two touchdowns as a receiver. Many forget how his performance in Detroit last season led to the Packers missing the playoffs. Hopefully, he will step it up this year.
3) Ahmad Carroll, CB (2004-06)
NFL Draft: 2004, Round 1, Pick 25 to the Green Bay Packers
Ahmad Carroll was a first-round pick by the Packers who had a short career in Green Bay. He played two-plus seasons with the Packers, starting 28 of the 34 games he played in. Carroll totaled three interceptions, three sacks and 93 tackles.
He would play just 23 more games after leaving Green Bay.
