Davante Adams is the best player to wear the Green Bay Packers’ number 17 jersey, and he is the most talented wide receiver in Packers history. While his career was a bit slow to start, he spent eight seasons in Green Bay and became one of the league’s top receivers.
Adams ranks second in Green Bay Packers for receptions (669), four in receiving yards (8,121) and second in receiving touchdowns (73). He was a two-time All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler with the Packers.
2) David Whitehurst (1977-83)
NFL Draft: 1977, Round 8, Pick 206 to the Green Bay Packers
David Whitehurst played all seven of his NFL seasons with Green Bay. He ended up making 37 starts, leading his team to a 16-20-1 record. Whitehurst completed 51.4% of his passes for 28 touchdowns and 51 interceptions.
3) Craig Hentrich, P (1994-97)
NFL Draft: 1993, Round 8, Pick 200 to the New York Jets
While his best seasons came after his time in Green Bay, Craig Hentrich played four seasons for the Packers, including the year they won Super Bowl XXXI. He had 36% of his punts downed inside the 20-yard line.

Currently, Alex McGough wears the Green Bay Packers’ number 17 jersey. McGough is currently the QB3 on the Packers roster, and he would be very valuable to have around. The two-time USFL Champion and current USFL MVP is a talented, mobile quarterback who is a terrific leader.
