It’s been a struggle for the Wisconsin basketball team in conference play this year. After starting out with a great road win over Marquette and almost beating Kansas, they have completely collapsed as of late. With their recent overtime loss on the road at Michigan, they likely sit on the wrong side of the NCAA Tournament bubble.
Purdue, on the other hand, has little to play for. While a loss would raise some eyebrows, a loss at the Kohl Center doesn’t hurt as bad as other road losses. With a win, not much changes for a Boilermakers team that is already solidified as a one or two-seed in the NCAA Tournament.
