Although the Milwaukee Brewers did not have quite the homestand they had been hoping for, they did finish it on a high note with a series win over the Los Angeles Angels. After a day off, the Brewers fly to the State of Colorado to face the worst team in the National League in the Colorado Rockies. Below, we have Brewers vs Rockies predictions for this week’s series, including projected starting pitchers, betting odds, injury report and the NL Central standings.
Milwaukee Brewers News | Brewers vs Rockies Series Predictions
The Milwaukee Brewers were only able to take one of three games against the Boston Red Sox and the Detroit Tigers. By taking two of three from the Angels, the Brewers were able to keep themselves in the vicinity of the Pittsburgh Pirates who currently lead the NL Central division.
This Brewers vs Rockies series will be a great chance for the Brewers to bounce back against a bad team. With the series taking place in the Rocky Mountains, Milwaukee’s bats should be able to find some more consistency. If they struggle in this series, the Brewers could be in for a tough May.
Colorado Rockies News | Brewers vs Rockies Series Predictions
The Colorado Rockies started off the season decently enough with a 5-6 record to start the season. Unfortunately for Colorado, they would go on an eight-game losing streak. Since then, Colorado has won just four of their last 10 games and sits at 9-20 overall.
The biggest issue for Colorado is that they’re quite simply bad at everything. They are third-worst in the National League in runs scored and dead last in the National League in runs against. With only CJ Cron and Ryan McMahon posing much of a threat bringing in runs and the couple batting just .242 and .230 respectively, it’s not surprising Colorado has little going for them so far.
