1) Robert Brown, DE (1982-92)
NFL Draft: 1982, Round 4, Pick 98 to the Green Bay Packers
Robert Brown was drafted in the fourth round by Green Bay and played his entire career with the Packers’ number 93 jersey. While not spectacular, Brown did have a solid NFL career, making 112 starts across 11 seasons with the “Green and Gold.” He totaled 25.5 sacks, a touchdown and two interceptions.
While Robert Brown played in arguably the most forgetful time period in Packers history, he still tops our list today.
2) Gilbert Brown, DT (1994-2003)
NFL Draft: 1993, Round 3, Pick 79 to the Minnesota Vikings
Now, the most notable number 93 for the Green Bay Packers is another Brown — Gilbert Brown. He is also the biggest man to wear the jersey.
While Gilbert Brown was drafted in the third round by the Minnesota Vikings, he was cut before the season due to his weight. Green Bay picked him up, and the rest is history. “The Gravedigger” played all 10 of his NFL season with the Packers, totaling seven sacks and starting 103 games.
3) Erik Walden (2010-12)
NFL Draft: 2008, Round 6, Pick 167 to the Dallas Cowboys
Erik Walden spent nearly three seasons in Green Bay, and he was a solid player during this span. He made 26 starts in 40 games for the Packers, totaling 106 tackles, eight sacks, two interceptions and a touchdown. While Walden may not get as much respect and praise for his time in Green Bay as he should, many of his former teammates still talk about him and how great he was to play with.

Who Wears Packers’ Number 93 in 2023?
Currently, Tedarrell Slaton, or TJ Slaton, wears the Green Bay Packers’ number 93. We said above how Gilbert Brown is the biggest man to wear this jersey number for the Packers, but Slaton gives him a run for his money. Slaton will be asked to take up space on the inside this season, playing a bit more snaps than in past seasons.
While he has shown flashes of solid play, he needs to become more consistent and reliable.
