1) Donald Driver, WR (1999-2012)

Wearing the Green Bay Packers’ number 80 jersey is a pretty big deal for a wide receiver, as you will find out in a second, but the best in Packer history to do it is fan-favorite Donald Driver. Despite being drafted in the seventh round, Driver became one of the best Packer wide receivers ever and one of the most popular players in franchise history.

Driver played all 14 NFL seasons in Green Bay. He won a Super Bowl and was voted to three Pro Bowls. Driver currently has the most receiving yards in Green Bay Packers history, at 10,137. He also totaled 743 receptions and 61 receiving touchdowns.

2) James Lofton, WR (1978-86)

NFL Draft: 1978, Round 1, Pick 6 to the Green Bay Packers

Second in all-time Green Bay Packers receiving yards is James Lofton, with 9,656. Lofton is an NFL legend who is rightfully in the NFL Hall of Fame. He is in the exclusive group of first-round Packer draft picks who were wide receivers.

Lofton played his first nine seasons in Green Bay, grabbing 530 receptions for 9,656 yards and 49 touchdowns. During his time in Green Bay, he was a seven-time Pro Bowler and was voted to the First-Team All-Pro once and Second-Team three times.

3) Jackie Harris, TE (1990-93)

NFL Draft: 1990, Round 4, Pick 102 to the Green Bay Packers

Jackie Harris was a solid tight end in Green Bay who went on to be productive in other places as well. Harris played his first four NFL seasons in the Packers’ number 80 jersey. He totaled 133 receptions for 1,620 yards and nine touchdowns.

Who Wears Packers’ Number 80 in 2023?

Currently, Bo Melton wears the Green Bay Packers’ number 80 jersey. Melton was a seventh-round draft pick by the Seahawks in 2022, and he was thought to have plenty of potential. He has only seen the practice squad so far in his NFL career, but the hope is that he will develop into a player that can use his speed to win on Sundays.
