Despite getting drafted in the fourth round, David Bakhtiari has developed into one of the NFL’s top left tackles while wearing the Green Bay Packers’ number 69 jersey. While injuries have recently become an issue, there is no doubt that Bakhtiari is one of the best offensive linemen in the league, when he is on the field. He has also been a likable player that also has been great for team culture.
During his 10 seasons in Green Bay, David Bakhtiari has been voted to three Pro Bowls, two First-Team All-Pro selections and three Second-Team All-Pro selections. With him still locking down the left side of the offensive line for the Packers, Bakhtiari could continue to separate himself as the best player to wear the Packers’ number 69.
2) Leotis Harris, G (1978-83)
NFL Draft: 1978, Round 6, Pick 144 to the Green Bay Packers
Leotis Harris played all six of his NFL seasons in Green Bay. During this time, he made 54 starts for the team, though there isn’t much to say after that.
3) Bill Bain, OT (1975)
NFL Draft: 1975, Round 2, Pick 47 to the Green Bay Packers
Despite being drafted in the second round, Bill Bain played just one season for the Green Bay Packers. He started only three of his 14 games with the Packers, before playing a couple of seasons with the Denver Broncos. His best seasons would come with the Los Angeles Rams, playing an important role on some good football teams. Unfortunately, his time in Green Bay was short.
