1) Brett Goode, LS (2008-17)
NFL Draft: Undrafted in 2007
Brett Goode initially went undrafted, then he was picked up and dropped from the Jacksonville Jaguars a couple of times. However, after an injury opened up a need for a starting long snapper, Goode was picked up by the Green Bay Packers in 2008. He ended up playing all 10 of his active NFL seasons in the Packers’ number 61 jersey. Goode even won a Super Bowl with Green Bay.
2) Dave Drechsler, G (1983-84)
NFL Draft: 1983, Round 2, Pick 48 to the Green Bay Packers
Dave Drechsler was a second-round draft pick out of North Carolina. However, he played just two seasons, starting 15 total games. After these two years in Green Bay, Drechsler left football altogether, opting to work for Huffman Technologies. He eventually served as the VP and COO of this company.
3) Bruce Van Dyke, G (1974-76)
NFL Draft: 1966, Round 12, Pick 174 to the Philadelphia Eagles
Bruce Van Dyke spent most of his NFL career in Pennsylvania, playing for both the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers. After possibly his best season, he was traded to the Green Bay Packers. He was limited to just one game in his first season with the team, but he played two more seasons as the Packers’ number 61 as a full-time starter on the offensive line.

Who Wears Packers’ Number 61 in 2023?
Currently, undrafted rookie DJ Scaife is wearing the Green Bay Packers’ number 61. While Scaife faces an uphill battle to make the roster, Green Bay has had lackluster play at the center position during the past several years, so there will be a competition at center during training camp.
