NFL Draft: 2003, Round 1, Pick 29 to the Green Bay Packers
Nick Barnett wore the Green Bay Packers’ number 56 jersey for eight years, after he was a first-round pick by the organization in 2003. Barnett was immediately slotted in as a starting linebacker for the Packers, and he had a very successful career.
Barnett won a Super Bowl in Green Bay and was voted to the Second-Team All-Pro. Across 107 starts, he totaled 789 tackles, 52 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks and nine interceptions. This includes an incredible 95-yard pick-six.
2) Julius Peppers, EDGE (2014-16)
NFL Draft: 2002, Round 1, Pick 2 to the Carolina Panthers
Despite playing only three seasons in Green Bay, Julius Peppers had a massive impact. He made 43 starts in three years, totaling 25 sacks, eight forced fumbles, two interceptions and two touchdowns. He made one Pro Bowl with the Packers as well.
3) Ted Hendricks, LB (1974)
NFL Draft: 1969, Round 2, Pick 33 to the Baltimore Colts
Many forget the NFL Hall of Famer played a season with the Packers. While Ted Hendricks played just one season for Green Bay, it was one of his best. He totaled one sack, one safety and five interceptions across 14 starts. Hendricks was voted an All-Pro and Pro Bowler this season.
