NFL Draft: 1990, Round 2, Pick 48 to the Green Bay Packers
LeRoy Butler is undoubtedly the best player to wear the Green Bay Packers’ number 36 jersey. Recently inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, the originator of the Lambeau Leap played his full career in Green Bay. He was a four-time All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler while also winning a Super Bowl with the Packers.
LeRoy Butler made 165 starts in his Packers career. He totaled 38 interceptions, 20.5 sacks, 889 tackles and three touchdowns.
2) Nick Collins, S (2005-11)
NFL Draft: 2005, Round 2, Pick 51 to the Green Bay Packers
Much like Sterling Sharpe, Packer fans wish Nick Collins didn’t have his tremendous career cut short. His seven-year Packer career was cut short due to a neck injury.
The three-time Pro Bowler made 95 starts for the Packers. He totaled 21 interceptions, 421 tackles and five regular-season touchdowns. Nick Collins also had a pick-six for the Packers in the Super Bowl XLV win.
3) MacArthur Lane, RB (1972-74)
NFL Draft: 1968, Round 1, Pick 13 to the St. Louis Cardinals
After playing four seasons with St. Louis, MacArthur Lane joined the Packers, playing 41 games in total for Green Bay. He ran for 1,711 yards and seven touchdowns while also adding 855 yards and four touchdowns as a receiver.
