While it is only mid-June, the Green Bay Packers-Chicago Bears rivalry is alive and well. And since the only W’s Chicago is picking up against Green Bay is in the offseason, this is the best time of the year to be a Bears fan, as Chicago defensive lineman Justin Jones said in his press conference on Tuesday.
Bears DL Calls Packer Fans Shitty and Obnoxious
Let’s be honest, you have no idea who Justin Jones is. And we can be even more honest, since we’re all friends here, by saying many Chicago fans had no idea who this man was either. That was until his press conference on Tuesday in which Jones (@Twenty7Savage on Twitter) had some choice words to say about Packer fans.
After being asked what it would be like with the Bears’ owner no longer in the division, Jones said he wished Aaron Rodgers was still playing because Chicago almost beat the Packers last season. He also called the Green Bay fans obnoxious.
When asked to expand, Jones did. He said Packer fans are obnoxious and shitty because we yell even when a play isn’t happening. Side note for Justin: this is called cheering. We know you aren’t used to it.
Jones also said half of Packer fans don’t even know football. Luckily, I happen to be in the half that does, so let’s talk a little football.
Justin Jones Sucks
Now, we know the Bears suck. However, when compared to only the team he is on, Justin Jones also sucks. According to PFF’s grades from last season, Jones was graded a lowly 45.8, which was tied for 27/34 on the defense. This was the second-lowest grade for a player that saw the field in at least half of the games last season.
Yes, Justin Jones is a starter for the Chicago Bears. However, this is equivalent to snapping the ball on a silent count against the Wisconsin School for the Deaf. It simply does not matter.
By the way, the Packers won by 17 in the game in Green Bay. He said the game “got away” at the end, but we led by 14 points entering the fourth quarter. Shut your soft cupcake ass up. Aaron Jones ran for 132 and AJ Dillon ran for 61 in the same game. Justin Jones sucks. I’m sorry fans making noise during the game in September still has you bothered.
It’s actually possible Jones was talking about the 28-19 game in December, since the Bears led going into the fourth quarter. This would be even funnier. Were there so many Packer fans at Soldier Field that Jones thought he was in Green Bay? This guy is a jabroni.
