After losing another series, this time to the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Milwaukee Brewers are desperately looking to get back on track. Luckily for the Crew, they still only trail the Pittsburgh Pirates by a half-game atop the NL Central. With the second-worst team in the MLB, the Kansas City Royals, coming to town, Milwaukee will look to make a statement. Below, we have Royals vs Brewers predictions for this week’s series, including projected starting pitchers, betting odds, injury report and the NL Central standings.
Milwaukee Brewers News | Royals vs Brewers Series Predictions
The Milwaukee Brewers were only able to take one of three games against the Los Angeles Dodgers to start their homestand. Since their red-hot start, the Brewers have struggled to even play .500 ball. Milwaukee did a great job in the first game against the Dodgers, scoring nine runs before combining for just three combined in the last two games.
This Royals vs Brewers series will be a great chance for the Brewers to bounce back and hopefully get some “easy” wins against a very bad team. With a tough schedule on the horizon for the Brewers after this series, it’s critical Milwaukee wins this series.
Kansas City Royals News | Royals vs Brewers Series Predictions
The Kansas City Royals are simply awful, there is no other way to put it. Although they just won three of four games against the Chicago White Sox, they lost a series to the historically bad Oakland Athletics in the previous one.
With a team batting average of .236 and a team ERA of 5.57, there isn’t one specific area that has let the team down this season. This team is a weird mix of young stars and old vets past their prime. For as bad as the Royals are, they have scored more runs than the Seattle Mariners and Minnesota Twins this season, if the bats start rolling their hard to stop. Hopefully for Milwaukee, they’ll never get the chance.
