For those in need of a new Aaron Jones jersey, or wanting to get a head start on spending your tax return money, look no further than the Green Bay Packers Pro Shop. The Pro Shop is hosting its annual Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale. This year though, the event is back in-person.
The tent sale will take place both on March 9th and 10th from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Johnsville Tailgate Village in the Lambeau Field parking lot. Don’t worry if you can’t get there though, because the Pro Shop will sell the remainder of the items that weren’t sold during the sale online the following week.
Why You Should Attend the Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale
First and foremost, you need to attend the sales. The items range from t-shirts to sweatshirts to cleats at a substantial discount. More than just clothes, actual pieces of Lambeau and stadium equipment are also on sale, ranging from beer taps to lower bowl railings. If you are in need of Green Bay Packers gear, I absolutely recommend going to this event. It is the perfect time to get Christmas shopping done incredibly early, or a perfect time to find Summer clothes.
Just like every event in Green Bay, you can expect the tent sale to be packed. Packer fans are loyal. Lambeau Field is sold out for a practice. All of that is cool. What is cooler though is a parking lot packed with people waiting in line to buy a foam piece of cheese in March. Sales and other Green Bay Packers events continue to prove why Green Bay has the best fans in sports.
History of the Pro Shop Tent Sale
The Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale started all of the way back in 1994. Originating in the Northend parking lot outside of the former Pro Shop, the event has turned massive. Due partly to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event transitioned to an online event, where customers would need to wait for everything. This year, you get to take your cleats home as soon as you buy them. Trust me, that is a very positive sight for many who live in Green Bay.
As someone who has attended this event, and as I stated before, it is crazy to see how many people still care about the team in early March. What I am interested in this year though is how quickly Aaron Rodgers items go. It seems that the fanbase has really turned on the guy. Maybe for good reason, but if I was able to get the stats – Jordan Love vs. Aaron Rodgers, in terms of sales that would a great comparison.
Lambeau Field was recently rated as one of the highest in the league for food. This year, food warmers are allegedly on sale. It could be the gift for the Packer fan who has all of the Green Bay memorabilia.
Anyways, are you planning on attending the Green Bay Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale? If so, do you have your eyes set on anything in particular? Let me know in the comments.
