NFL Draft: 2000, Round 2, Pick 44 to the Green Bay Packers
All 12 of Chad Clifton’s NFL seasons were spent wearing the Green Bay Packers’ number 76 jersey. He was a fantastic player at left tackle for Green Bay, starting 160 total games. Clifton was a key lineman up front for two different Hall of Fame quarterbacks. He also was voted to two Pro Bowls and won a Super Bowl.
2) Bob Skoronski, OT (1956-68)
NFL Draft: 1956, Round 5, Pick 56 to the Green Bay Packers
If you recognize the last name of Skoronski, it’s because Bob Skoronski’s grandson, Peter Skoronski, was a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Skoronski played all 11 NFL seasons with the Packers, starting 124 games. He was voted to one Pro Bowl while winning five NFL Championships and two Super Bowls.
3) Mike McCoy, DT (1970-76)
NFL Draft: 1970, Round 1, Pick 2 to the Green Bay Packers
Mike McCoy was drafted by the Green Bay Packers second overall. which is a rarity in the franchise’s history. Needless to say, the team he was on wasn’t good, so he played a lot of meaningless football in his seven seasons as a Packer. He totaled 29 sacks, one interception and one touchdown.

Currently, Jon Runyan Jr. makes the Green Bay Packers’ number 76 jersey. Runyan has been a starter at guard for the past couple of seasons in Green Bay, and he is expected to hold that spot once again this season. Runyan has been effective as a run blocker on the interior, and he will need to continue moving bodies this season, as the Packers look to run the ball early and often.
