No, Darren Sharper is not the greatest person to wear the Green Bay Packers’ number 42 jersey. However, he is the best player to wear the number. His first eight NFL seasons were spent in Green Bay. He was a two-time Pro Bowler and was voted an All-Pro with the Packers. Sharper totaled 36 interceptions, six sacks, 610 tackles and seven touchdowns with the Packers.
He holds the NFL record for most interception return yards in a season, with 376, which he set in 2009.

Morgan Burnett was a solid player who was well-liked while wearing the Green Bay Packers’ number 42 jersey. He was on the Super Bowl XLV-winning team. Across eight seasons with the Packers, Burnett started 102 games and totaled 698 tackles, nine interceptions, eight forced fumbles, 7.5 sacks and one touchdown.
