1) Tramon Williams, DB (2007-14, 2018-19)
NFL Draft: Undrafted in 2006
Despite going undrafted in 2006, Tramon Williams is the best player to wear the Green Bay Packers’ number 38 jersey. He is a fan-favorite who had three different stints in Green Bay.
Tramon Williams was an undrafted rookie who found his way onto the Packers roster, where he played for eight seasons. After a few years on other teams, Williams had a two-year stint from 2018-19, then he was on the team again in 2021, but he did not see the field. In 10 seasons with the Packers, Williams started 122 games and totaled 559 tackles, 30 interceptions, 4.5 sacks and one touchdown. He also had a kick return touchdown.
Williams was a Pro Bowler and a Super Bowl champion with the Packers in 2010-11 as well.
2) Estus Hood, DB (1978-84)
NFL Draft: 1978, Round 3, Pick 62 to the Green Bay Packers
Estus Hood played all seven of his NFL seasons for the Packers. He made 33 starts, totaling 11 interceptions, one sack and one touchdown.
3) Hurles Scales, DB (1975)
NFL Draft: 1973, Round 14, Pick 355 to the Cincinnati Bengals
Hurles Scales played just two seasons in the NFL, with his second being in Green Bay. He played seven games for the Packers, but doesn’t have much in the stat book to show for it.
