NFL Draft: 1984, Round 5, Pick 126 to the Green Bay Packers
Tom Flynn is the best player to wear the Green Bay Packers’ number 41 jersey. He spent two-plus seasons with the Packers, making 36 starts. Flynn totaled 11 interceptions with the team.
He was unexpectedly cut during the 1986 season by the Packers. Flynn was immediately picked up by the Giants, then he blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown against the Packers later in the season.
2) Eugene Robinson, S (1996-97)
NFL Draft: Undrafted in 1985
After going undrafted in the 1985 NFL Draft, Eugene Robinson found a home quickly in Seattle. After playing 11 seasons there, he played two years for Green Bay. Robinson started all 32 games for the Packers, totaling seven interceptions, 193 tackles and 2.5 sacks. He was a starter for the Super Bowl XXXI-winning team.
3) Spencer Havner, LB/TE (2009-10)
NFL Draft: Undrafted in 2006
Spencer Havner went undrafted in 2006, then he spent time with Washington and was on the Packers’ practice squad. He attempted to convert from linebacker to tight end, which meant he saw some snaps on both sides of the ball for Green Bay. He best season was 2009, when he made one start. In total, Havner totaled seven receptions for 112 yards, four touchdowns and 19 tackles in 2009.
