NFL Draft: 1956, Round 15, Pick 181 to the Cleveland Browns
After two seasons of doing nothing in Cleveland, Willie Davis put on the Green Bay Packers’ number 87 jersey, and the rest was history.
Davis played 10 seasons for the Packers, winning five NFL Championship and two Super Bowls. The NFL Hall of Famer was also voted to five Pro Bowls and five All-Pro teams.
Dr. Feelgood is the Green Bay Packers sacks leader, with 99.5 total sacks. Willie Davis is truly a legend.
2) Jordy Nelson, WR (2008-17)
NFL Draft: 2008, Round 2, Pick 36 to the Green Bay Packers
When most current Packer fans think of #87, they think of wide receiver Jordy Nelson. The fan-favorite farm boy from Kansas formed a dominant duo with Aaron Rodgers.
In nine seasons in Green Bay, Nelson totaled 550 receptions, 7,848 yards and 69 touchdowns. Somehow, Jordy Nelson was voted to only one Pro Bowl in his career. He also won a Super Bowl and the 2016 Comeback Player of the Year.
3) Robert Brooks, WR (1992-98)
NFL Draft: 1992, Round 3, Pick 62 to the Green Bay Packers
Due to other great wide receivers playing in the same era as Robert Brooks, he often doesn’t get the credit he deserves. However, he was a very solid wide receiver for the Packers in his first seven NFL seasons.
Obviously, he won a Super Bowl with Green Bay. Brooks also totaled 306 receptions, 4,225 yards and 32 touchdowns in seven years.

Who Wears Packers’ Number 87 in 2023?
Currently, Romeo Doubs wears the Green Bay Packers’ number 87 jersey. The second-year wide receiver will be asked to play a very large role in the Green Bay offense this season, as he is listed as the WR2. We will see if he can build off of a relatively solid rookie season.
